What we have been up to

Life has been so crazy! We sold our house! We only had two and a half weeks to get out so we have been super busy. We closed on Monday, so now we can slow down a bit. School has started again, so we now are watching the girlies again. Parker loves having friends to play with every day again. This year Parker and Kadance are going to Preschool! I can't believe my baby is going to school. They both absolutely love it!

Downata Hot Springs

Every year we try to make it to Downata with our friends. We love it there because our friends fro Utah can usually come, and the water is sooo warm. It's perfect for young kiddos. We had a blast, and all the kids were like little fishes!

We love to go fishing in the evenings. Parker usually catches all the fish but it is so fun to do it as a family.

Another Softball Tourn.

The end of July we went to my little sister's last softball tournament of the season. This time it was in Malad and it was hot! Parker and I love to watch Kate play her sports. She is always playing something! They won 2nd at this tournament. GO SR!

On Saturday, July 25th Zach's little sister got married in the Rexburg LDS temple. It was a long, but fun day. We are so excited for Kelsey and Steven!

A cOuPlE tRiPs To ThE zOo

Friday and Saturday my little sis, Kate, had a softball tourn. at Tauphus Park. Friday Zach and I took Parker to the zoo and then to one of Kate's games followed by a short trip to funland. Then Saturday Zach went fishing with some friends so Park and I went to more games and made another stop at the zoo. The animals were so fun. Usually they are all asleep or in hiding, but both days the animals were ready to entertain. Saturday was Dr. Dolittle day so they had a scavenger hunt and games and crafts. We had a long, hot but very fun weekend!

Ross Park

We finally went swimming! We have been wanting to get to Ross Park for a long time and last week we made it. We went with my mom, sister-in-law and her girls, and Hayley and Boston. We had so much fun.

We went water skiing for the 4th with my family and some friends. We got a little sun burnt, but it was a blast!

Talbot Reunion

On Tuesday night we left for the family reunion. Zach ended up having to work late so

we didn't get on the road until about 10:15p.m. and arrived at camp about 11:30p.m. just in time to go to bed. We hopped in the trailer with grandma and grandpa so we didn't have to set up our tent in the dark. We had so much fun fishing, relaxing, playing, hiking, and spending time with the family. They always plan so many fun activities to keep us all entertained!

Another Fishing Trip

On Wednesday, Zach took Parker and I to Deirke's Lake in Twin Falls to go fishing. We used to live in Twin when we first got married and fished there almost every night. We love it there. Usually we catch a lot, but this time we didn't do so well. We did catch one, but it was a small blue gil and we threw it back. We had fun hanging out and having a picnic.

The kids LOVE to play in the water. There is nothing better than running through a sprinkler on a hot summer day, followed by a nice popsicle. This was our last day watching the girlies and Parker is so bored!

Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend we had a lot of fun together as a family.

Saturday we went fishing with my brother and his family. Zach told Parker that a lunker was a big fish, so every fish we caught Parker called it a "Huge Wonker!" He loves fishing, and him and his dad caught 8 "Wonkers!"

Sunday we went to my mom's house for dinner. My cousin's from Utah were here so we went to see them. Parker loves his cousin Caden. After hanging out with my family we headed to Zach's moms house.

Monday we went to a BBQ with the Talbots, and then headed shopping to Pocy. We also decided to take Parker to the zoo while we were there. Parker loves animals, and has been begging us to take him. Parker has also been begging me for a puppy, and with our house for sale I refused to let him have one, so we compromised on a kitten. So, while we were in Pocy we stopped and let him pick out a kitten. He absolutely loves his kitten!
